The round Roaring Twenties room is designed with an Art Deco flare reflecting that period’s timeless elegance and romance. A time epitomized by F Scott Fitzgerald, Jazz, and Flappers. Step into a room from an era of bygone days.
The fanciful art deco bedroom was designed to feature a combination of colors and patterns from the flapper era, a salmon-colored wall with lots of trim. The round 700 square foot Roaring Twenties room is complete with a smart TV, DVD player, mini Fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and more. It is located on the second floor of the north tower – a very quiet and relaxing location.
Art Deco was a major design style of the 1920s and 1930s. In its original aesthetic Art Deco was an unashamedly exuberant maximalist style. It was sophisticated and glamorous with a focus on luxury and opulence. Book Nook Inn’s modern Art Deco bedroom continues the visual drama but with the addition of contemporary elements to give the style new life.
The overriding ethos of Art Deco is ‘more is more.’ It’s a style characterised by strong, unfussy, statement-making visual drama. It’s all about exuberance and visual drama.
The Art Deco bedroom creates the perfect background photographers desire for their bridal photographs. We hope you will enjoy staying in our modernized roaring twenties boudoir.
